TWIST & SHOUT

50/50 was sooooooooo good

So, the finale of my school’s production of the Wizard of Oz was tonight. I am in a glass case of emotion.

It was such an incredible, amazing show, full of so many beautiful and inspiring people whose friendships I will always cherish. I don’t think I’ve felt such self-confidence in such a long time, or so happy than I have the past 3 nights. I will carry the memories for my whole life. Everyone did such a brilliant job, and I am so proud to have been a part of it. The whole cast and crew really did feel like a family, and I forged so many new, good friends that outshine the bad ones - who I finally feel like I’m ready to not let them make me hurt and angry and negatively affect my life anymore. Being in drama has brought me out of my shell which certain people have pushed me away into, and I am so grateful for the musical allowing me to shine, if only for a little. But I won’t forget it. Ever.
